November Spotlight - Larry & Rachel Morgan

It's November and the end of the year is coming fast.

This month we are highlighting another one of our young wedding couples, Larry & Rachel Morgan. Larry and Rachel were married on July, 17, 2010 at the Rose Garden, FTCC, in Fayetteville NC. The wedding was officiated by Pastor Bob Bulls, Fayetteville NC.

It was a very hot July day, but the couple was cool and calm. Their wedding colors were crimson red and ivory. The bride worn a beautiful full length ivory wedding dress and the groom was dressed in a black tux with a red tie and white shirt. The brides' bonquet was a dozen of crimson red roses, arranged by her Maid of Honor and sister-in-law, Amanda Walters.

Around the beautiful fountain in the Rose Garden was the parents of the Bride; brother and sister-in-law of the Bride; maternal and paternal grandparents of the Bride; Parents of the Groom; younger siblings of the Groom; a host of out-of-state family and friends of the Bride and Groom.

The reception was held at Honeycutt Rcreation Center in Fayetteville NC. DJ Tommy King kept some of the guest on the dance floor, while caterer, Jeff Robertson, kept most of them coming back to the buffet table for seconds and thirds.

The event came to a close around 4pm and Larry & Rachel departed in style. Larry is in the military, while Rachel is employed at a private school. The couples' duty station is Fort Bragg, so they will remain living in Fayetteville NC for now.

This wedding was loads of fun to do. All made possible by the very fun loving and easy going couple.

Update since the wedding: Larry and Rachel is expecting their first child in April 2011. Congratulations to the two of them.

Happy Birthday Crystal!

This is my daughter Crystal LaShea Hart. She was born on July 30, 1984. I wanted to highlight Crystal this month on my blog because July is her birthday month and she's my favorite daughter. Crystal currently live and work in GA. I'm very proud of Crystal for all the things that she has accomplished this early in her life. My only desire is that one day, she will be married and have at least two children, so that I will have the chance to SPOIL them; but mostly I desired that she will follow the WILL of God for her life and live and love HIM above anyone else. Happy Birthday Crystal!. Love you much, MOM!

Pink breeze and Crimson heat!

I'm ready to design the wedding reception of two young brides getting married in July.  One bride has chosen the color pink and the other has chosen crimson red. I have an idea of what I'm going to do and I can't wait to see it all fall into place.

But, I want to know what's your idea of a pink wedding? When you think of crimson red, what comes to mind? I'm excited for both of these brides. I can't wait to see their faces when they walk into their reception venues. Don't get me wrong; I'm not bragging, but I thank God for the gift He has placed within me.

Crimson red's wedding ceremony will be outdoors, so I ask for your prayers because it is extremely hot in North Carolina, especially at 12pm in July.

Stay tune, I'll post some photographs after the events.

Meet the Davenport's

Karen and Aldred Davenport wanted something different for their wedding. They opt for a small intimate affair with family and close friends with a sit-down dinner reception.

Aldred is an adventerous outdoorsmen and Karen is very laid back, so they went with a earthy color palette of blue, brown and green. Each guest received a blue box of chocolates to take home as a thank you gift from Karen & Aldred.

Karen & Aldred will remain working and living in Fayetteville NC.

My Black & Blue Wedding - March 2010

I'm so excited for this young couple. Though they experienced a few bumps in the road prior to their wedding date, I pray that the blessing of Abraham will be upon them as they begin their new life together.

Jamar & Ashton have many things in common, i.e. they share the same birthday, both of their fathers are named Willie; many of their close family members also share the same name; and her maiden name is 'Black' and her married name is 'Blue'. (Black & Blue, a  great wedding theme & color) The bride chose pink & orange as her wedding colors, as you can see in the sand photo above.

Thanks Jamar & Ashton for allowing me to be a part of your special day. A special thanks also to their parents, Willie & Angela Black and Willie & Evelyn Blue; all of Fayetteville NC.
